Night Owl - Close Orbit Dominance Fighter

The Night Owl is a starfighter designed to control the fragile boundary between space and atmosphere. With a silhouette reminiscent of a hunting owl, its wide sensor wings allow exceptional awareness during high-speed interception.

Built for close orbit superiority, the fighter excels at intercepting strike craft, hunting dropships, and protecting fleets during planetary insertion. Powerful maneuvering thrusters and advanced sensor arrays allow the Night Owl to track and engage targets even within the chaotic thermal noise of upper atmospheres.

I wanted to design a starfighter and during the process some heavy Star Wars universe influences like the folding wings of the imperial shuttle just made sense for the design so I went with it. The initial sketches were more organic but I ended up in Star Wars land more and more. I hope you enjoy it!
